Waka's shoes tapped lightly as he landed on a rooftop. Sakura stopped walking, sensing his prescence. "Mon enfant, come back home immediately. You were forbidden to go out tonight, remember?" Sakura smirked and turned to face her father.

"You know what, Dad? Screw you," she said, defiantly, flipping him off and smiling as she did it. Waka was horrifed and frozen with disbelief. Had his daughter really just said that? She turned and walked away, heading for the gate to Kamui. She was intent on boarding the Ark of Yamoto, which had been refrozen in the lake after her parents had returned to Nippon. She wanted to go home, to the Celestial Plains, and maybe even to the once-great lands of the Moon Tribe. More than anything, she wanted out.

I totally wrote that in five minutes. Anyway, this tooka bit of editing for skin color, hair color, eye color, the ears, and the clothes. I also edited the shadows a bit. I rather like it.

Sakura, or Sakkie, is pretty rebellious now that she's fourteen, or fifteen. I haven't decided yet. I'll probably write a fanfic about her adventures as a teen after I finish "The Journey".
